    The main ingredients include chiles, nuts, spices, chocolate, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, walnuts, garlic, onion, tomato, raisins, sweet chocolate, piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), plantain, bread, and tortilla. These ingredients are blended separately and then cooked slowly in a pot with a little oil. The dish is traditionally served with rice and homemade blue corn tortillas.
